This year, the Women’s U.S. Open winner was Coco Golf. She is from the U.S. and was 19 years-old when she won her first Grand Slam title, making her the tenth teenager to win the U.S open on the women's side. She started playing tennis when she was six years old and turned pro when she was 14. In the finals she beat the second overall ranked player, Aryna Sabalenka who is from Belarus, winning her the championship.
Now on to the men's side. The winner was Novack Djokovic from Serbia. He won against Daniel Medvedev from Russia. It was a rematch from when Medvedev won against Djokovic two years before in the US Open finals. It was Djokovic's 24th Grand Slam title at the age of 36 making him tied with Serena Williams!
This US Open Had two amazing players Coco Goff, one who is entering her prime and Novak Djokovic who is exiting his Prime. How much more do you think they can win?
