Imagine it’s 2020 and the latest gossip is about the cyber truck.
”When will it be released?”
“Will the army use it?”
“What is the price?”
All the latest news was about Tesla’s ongoing creation which would revolutionize the whole car market. The rumors claim it was able to pull a whole truck in one of its practice arenas. That it was a portable camper, which could fit a mini house in the back, the rumors went as far to say “ Elon Musk throws an axe at the cyber truck.” They became so wild that even I couldn’t understand how modern technology can generate such realistic images. But where is this 7000 thousand pound beast now. The cybertruck was officially released as the monster it was supposed to be on November 30 2023. But only a few months after the release of the cybertruck disaster struck. On April 17, 2024, Tesla had to recall every single one of their cybertrucks (over three thousand) because the accelerator started getting stuck in the maximum speed. This problem was because while the cybertruck was being built the engineers used adhesive to secure the accelerators cover,.But the adhesive started deteriorating just after a few months of it being installed. After that tragedy the market thought the cybertruck would improve, after all it was a new type of car with different parts and components then other cars and a very different build, but that was not true because in July of 2024 cyber truck made another recall of eleven thousand cars, because the malfunction in the windshield wiper. The malfunction was caused by electric overstress which would stop the windshield wiper’s movement, and blurs up the glass which leads to higher chances of death.
So in conclusion the cyber truck has had two major recalls and five recalls total. But do you think these recalls are because the cybertruck has true manufacturing deficits or because it is still going through trial and error?
